Summer of 2021, I interned at Peppershock Media. During this time, I contributed to design and illustration work on a variety of client and internal projects, as well as assisted team members in the production of email templates, logos,
documents, and other assets. These are a few projects I contributed my illustration skills to in particular.
Peppershock Media - Field Guide Illustrations
These illustrations were created for use in a “field guide” booklet for clients, which provided information on all of Peppershock’s different creative offerings. Each piece
represents a service Peppershock offers, such as videography, design, or social media advertising. These are vector illustrations, made to match existing work started by another designer on the team.
Southern Utah University - Finish Line Scholarship
Towards the end of my internship, and afterwards, I provided freelance illustration services on projects for Southern Utah University. These are screenshots from a series of promotional videos for SUU’s “Finish Line Scholarship” program.
In this project, I was tasked with creating relatable and friendly illustrated depictions of students based on photography that SUU provided. I worked alongside a creative director and video editor, who put together the video’s graphics and animation, while I contributed the final illustrations of students.
Southern Utah University - Staff Headshots
As well, I worked on a series of illustrated staff headshots for SUU. I was guided by Peppershock’s creative director to refine this simplified red and white illustration style, derived from previous illustration work the university provided us as reference, to create a cohesive and appealing set of portraits.
