Southside Water Sports was a semester-long project that involved finding a company in need of a logo, designing their logo from scratch, then expanding upon their brand with additional materials such as package design, magazine layouts, and instagram stories. From the start, I knew that Southside Water Sports needed a cool, trendy, west-coast look. Inspired by surf culture of the past few decades, I used a variety of quirky lettering and layout techniques to craft an exciting and youthful sports brand.
